Survey and route optimisation

Procurement
Sourcing of conductors, towers, monopoles, cable systems and associated equipment to project specification.
Construction
Erection, stringing and installation across overhead and underground systems.

Complete testing, commissioning and energisation, with statutory sign-off.

Transmission Lines up to 400 kV

Underground EHV Cable Systems
- Route survey, route optimisation and line routing
- Cable system design, including analysis and calculation for cable support and pressure-maintenance systems
- Supply of high-voltage power cable and accessories
- Construction, cable-laying and energisation of EHV cable systems
- Duct work involving trenching, directional boring and manholes
Substations up to 220 kV
- Engineering and construction of substations up to 220 kV
- Associated civil, structural and electrical works
- Testing, commissioning and energisation
- Real-time dashboard and monthly performance reporting
Approvals and Shutdown Planning
Utility approvals and statutory coordination are managed in parallel with construction, and outage windows are sequenced against the programme so that execution is not held up by clearances. When a shutdown window is available, work is planned to use it fully.
Network Diversions and Land Optimisation
Existing transmission infrastructure often constrains how a site can be developed. ADECO assesses the network, site conditions and development plans together, then engineers diversion, realignment or undergrounding solutions that release developable land, reduce project risk and optimise cost, with no compromise to safety or system reliability. For developers and industrial clients, this converts a fixed site constraint into usable, revenue-generating land.
